[Infographic] DREAM Act: How Could It Boost the Economy?

The DREAM (Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors) Act – a bill that would provide a pathway to legal status for those brought to the United States as children and have since completed high school and some college or served in the military – has been a mainstay in legislation discussions and proposals since its introduction in 2001. To understand the economic impact the DREAM Act could have if passed, the Center for American Progress created this infographic detailing how the act could add $329 billion to the U.S. economy by 2030.
